Summary

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position you must meet the following by the closing date of the vacancy announcement: 02/27/2023 Qualifications will be determined under the Job Element Rating System X-118C, Qualifications Standard Handbook. While a specific length of time and experience is not required for most Wage Grade positions, you must show through experience and training that you possess the best qualified level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of this position. Physical Effort:
Will be required to exert very heavy physical effort in the performance of assigned duties. Employees at this level frequently lift and move equipment and components weighing over 23 kilograms (50 pounds).
Laborers must move and control heavy equipment, carry and set up ladders and scaffolding, and work from ladders and scaffolds.
Working Conditions
At this level laborers work outside in all kinds of weather, and inside in areas that may be dusty, drafty, and noisy. The equipment, tools, and tasks involved at this level frequently require extreme care and use of safety gloves, ear plugs, safety glasses, or respirators to avoid severe injuries.
